Jo Smith is a Nashville based country recording artist,

originally from South Georgia.
• Smith is signed to GRAMMY Award winning

   songwriter/producer Shane McAnally’s music publishing powerhouse, SMACKSongs.
• Her EP, Introducing Jo Smith, was released last October. The album showcases a unique blend of contemporary country and classic Motown. The four song EP was produced by Shane McAnally (Old Dominion, Sam Hunt, Kacey Musgraves) and Jesse Frasure (Thomas Rhett).
• The lead single, “Old School Groove” was written by Jo Smith, Ben Burgess and Bobby Huff. “Old School Groove” was selected as the first 2017 female Highway Find on SiriusXM’s The Highway and is currently available at all digital retailers. 
• Jo Smith was named an Artist You Need To Know by Rolling Stone Country.
• Smith’s music video for her lead single, “Old School Groove,” premiered on CMT.  The video was shot at the American Legion in Nashville. Jo Smith’s influences include country greats like Keith Whitley and The Judds, as well as soul singers like Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin.
