2021 Ms. Franklin/Southampton County Fair

Pageant Rules and Regulations

 

 

Understand that in submitting the application you are aware of the Rules and Regulations of the Fair Board listed:

Rules and Regulations

1. Contestant can be single, married, have children, separated, divorced or widowed.

2. Contestant must be 21 and up on the day of pageant.

3. Contestant must be female who has always been female.

4. Contestant must possess good moral character having never been convicted of any crime or have criminal charges pending against her. In addition, she must never have committed an act or engaged in any activity which is or could be characterized as dishonest, immoral, indecent, or in bad taste, either in person or on any form of social media.

5. Contestant and all accompanying members or guests will conduct themselves in a proper “lady-like” manner at ALL times. Any display of uncooperative or unsportsmanlike conduct will result in disqualification of the contestant or title holder.

6. Contestant will compete in a private interview, personality wear, on stage question, and evening gown.

7. Must have lived in the City of Franklin, Southampton County or work in Franklin / Southampton, for at least six (6) months prior to the pageant.

8. Applications are online at www.franklinsouthamptoncountyfair.org  

9. Application is to be TYPED or Handwritten Neatly and submitted with a non-refundable $40.00 application fee, 5x7 Black and White Head Shot to the Pageant Director. The complete application is due on or before JUNE 8th.

10. Once crowned, the Queen’s presence is required during the four (4) days of the fair.

11. Her presence is expected at shows and to award various ribbons when required.

12. She will be expected to represent the Franklin/Southampton County Fair, and other functions associated with the Fair.

13.  Contestants are required to participate in fundraisers.

                      THREE additional COPIES of the application

                      Signature Sheet

                      Photo Release Form

                      $40.00 Entry Fee

                       5x7 Black and White Photo (Head Shot)
