TALENT SHOW

Wednesday, August 5, 2026 starting at 6:30pm 

Rules: 

1. There are 3 age divisions 

● Junior Division – ages 14 years and younger 

● Intermediate Division – ages 15-17 years old 

● Senior Division – ages 18 years and older 

Ages as of July 31, 2026 

2. First place in each category will receive $100. Second place will  receive a trophy. 

3. Chairperson reserves the right to change age and divisions  according to the number of entries. 

4. Applications will be available at the preliminaries or can be  mailed prior to the preliminaries to Cecil Edwards, 23179 Storys  Station Road, Courtland, VA 23837. 

5. All contestants must appear for preliminary judging at 7:00pm  on June 3 and July 14 at the Fairgrounds. 

6. The preliminary judging will be based on your entire selection  and costumes are required. 

7. There will be eliminations at the preliminary judging.

8. Appearance is very important and will be judged toward your  final score. Costumes need to reflect your talent selection.

9. Up to eight participants may be chosen from each of the three age divisions. 

10. The final talent presentation should be limited to no more than eight minutes
